Fair Lobbying Fund

The Minnesota Federation of County Fairs employs a lobbyist in an effort to help promote, protect, and represent the county fairs of Minnesota at the Minnesota State Legislature. Member dues alone do not cover the lobbyist fee, and it is a continual battle to defend the very values our fairs promote and foster.

Fairs receive on average $15,000 - $25,000 in grants and beneficial programs through the State. The MFCF lobbyist protects and advocates for those dollars, programs, and our fairs. The suggested contribution is at least $400 per fair.

Of course, any amount, whether it be more or less than the suggested amount, is welcomed and will be put toward the lobbying effort for our county fairs
