The
Southwest and Southland Dairy Farmers is an alliance of dairy farmers
from Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Virginia, Kentucky
and North Carolina. These producers
have pooled their resources to provide consumer education in nutrition,
to promote dairy product use, and provide dairy product information.
The
Southwest Dairy Museum operates in an educational and promotional
capacity for the dairy industry. The Museum provides the public with
factual information about milk production,
nutrition, and dairy products, helping to enhance the image of the
dairyman. Dairy farmers direct and fund all activities in that effort.
