2026 Communications Contest Official Entry Form

The Communications Contest is open to any Minnesota County Fair. Fairs may have one entry in each category. An entry form should accompany each entry. Entries must be from your 2025 fair.

Categories:

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

1. Poster
2. Brochure / Flyer
3. Premium Book / Exhibitor Handbook
4. Schedule
5. Other Promotional Item (i.e., t-shirt, placemat hat, freebie). (Remember, only 1 entry per category.)
6. Social Media Ad (image) (NEW)
7. Radio Ad (NEW)
8. TV/Video Ad (NEW)

AMATEUR ENLARGED PHOTO

Contest photos must be 8” x 10”, framed or matted with an easel.
The MFCF will have non-exclusive rights to all photos entered in the contest.
Fairs are allowed to enter one photo in each of the following categories:

A. Kids at the Fair (no animals)
B. Kids with Animals
C. Nighttime at the Fair
D. Special Event at the Fair
E. Photo Taken with a Drone
F. Something NEW at your 2025 Fair!
G. Competitive Exhibit Display
H. Food
I. MN Legacy Grant (Show off your grant project!)
J. MN Agri Grant (Show off your grant project!)

Judging Criteria:

Motivational
Informative
Utilizing a central theme
Creative Excellence
Reason or story behind the entry. - Please provide 25 words or less about your entry.

Deadline: Entries must be received no later than Friday, January 16, 2026, by 4:00 p.m.

Social Media Ad, Radio Ad, and TV/Video Ad Deadline: Entries must be received by January 1, 2026

Location: Entries should be delivered to the Bloomington Room, which is located on the 2nd floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

Winners: First place winners will receive plaques and be recognized during the awards ceremony.
